After having left my tumblr account alone for such a long while, I figured I should provide a brief explanation lest things happen and objects be.

When I created this blog my intention was to very closely document the creation and release of my first album. The intention of this blog is still the same, but my own intentions changed.

I decided that a full album, especially as such an unknown artist, was an undertaking best left for the near future. My intentions now? Release a series of singles and push each one, as opposed to pushing an entire album.

My thinking is this: If I can release a single, push it, get word out, and go for TV spots, etc, then I can start building in a much more natural way. Building naturally is something I’ve always wanted to do.
