I’m going to rant. I’m going to rant, but I’m going to do it whilst taking care to rant with brevity. My tea will get cold if I don’t.

I cannot access a social network without seeing a slew of posts about which US presidential candidate is ‘the best’ and which party should be ruling, and frankly it’s becoming intolerable.

So let me pose you a question and bid you adieu. Instead of arguing about which president or administration has caused the most debt, perhaps you should ask yourself this question because I guarantee you the answer will take you much longer to compose than a Facebook status update:

Why has the US been in debt since 1791? Which administration should I point the blame at so I can pick a side, because frankly I’m tired of sifting through the slander.

So please, answer this question so we can all network in peace.
